Introducing Homey’s New “Click to Sign” Feature for Digital Conveyancing

4 Sept 2025
The Click to Sign feature enables secure, compliant digital document signing by allowing users to draw or type their signature directly within a user-friendly modal.
We’re excited to announce the launch of our enhanced “Click to Sign” feature, designed to make digital document signing in conveyancing smoother, more secure, and fully compliant.
What’s New?
Our updated signature field lets users choose between drawing or typing their signature in a dedicated modal interface. Typed signatures are pre-filled with your account name, and you can easily edit or remove them before confirming. For those who prefer penmanship, the draw-to-sign option remains, complete with the ability to retry or redraw.
Mobile-First Experience
Signing on mobile is now easier than ever. The signature modal goes full-screen, enforces horizontal orientation for comfortable drawing, and ensures input fields aren’t blocked by the keyboard—making the process seamless wherever you are.
Compliance and Security
Only the assigned user can sign their designated section, preventing errors and boosting compliance. Every signature event is tracked in the activity log, including who signed, what was signed, when, and where—providing a robust audit trail for peace of mind.
