How to fill your TA6 Forms in Homey

The TA6 Property Information Form is one of the most important — and most tedious — documents in any UK property sale. Prepared by the seller and required by the Law Society, it covers everything from boundaries, disputes and alterations to guarantees, insurance, environmental issues, parking and utilities. Get it wrong or leave it incomplete, and it can delay exchange, trigger buyer queries, or even expose sellers to legal risk after completion.

Homey turns this dense, easy-to-misread form into a guided, conversational experience. Instead of scanning pages of legal boilerplate, sellers are walked question by question, with plain-English explanations, smart skip-logic for sections that don't apply, and built-in prompts that flag missing or inconsistent answers before submission. Progress is saved automatically, so the form can be completed in stages rather than one long sitting.

Once every section is complete, Homey brings the form to a close the same way a solicitor would ask for it in person: with a secure, built-in e-signature field. Sellers (and joint owners, where more than one signature is required) sign directly within the app, producing a fully executed, conveyancer-ready TA6 with no printing, scanning, or posting required.
