Edit Transactions with Confidence - Flexible Modification System
Previously, modifying transaction data was rigid and difficult. With this feature, transactions can be modified throughout their lifecycle with smart validation. The system allows necessary updates while locking specific fields at critical stages to prevent data corruption.
Smart Validation Rules
The system understands the transaction state. For example, it prevents changing business types after quotes are generated but allows other updates. If significant changes are made (like property price), the system automatically regenerates quotes to ensure accuracy.
Audit Trail and Safety
Tooltips explain why certain fields are locked. All modifications are logged in a complete audit trail, tracking who changed what and when. This ensures data integrity while giving users the flexibility to adapt to changing case circumstances.
