AI-Powered Document Organisation - Upload, Categorise, Done
Previously, uploading documents required manual navigation to specific sections and complex folder structures. With this feature, documents can be uploaded via drag-and-drop. For post-completion documents, a background job uses OpenAI GPT-4o-mini to analyse the filename and determine the appropriate category.
Intelligent Automation
The AI recognises common abbreviations (e.g., "tr1_", "md_") to categorise files accurately. The system enforces a "one-document-per-category" rule for post-completion, automatically moving existing files to "Other" to prevent duplicates and keep the file list clean.
Unified Repository
All documents are searchable and filterable. Documents uploaded via notes are also automatically reflected in the main Documents section. This ensures a unified, organised repository where users can find any file instantly without digging through folders.
